Technical Specifications

Load Cell for Polished Rod – PREx Series

The HFN PREx Series was specifically developed for the harsh conditions of oilfields, offering precision, durability, and safety in rod pumping systems (RPS).

Its robust stainless steel casing is filled with resin, protecting the internal electronic circuits and making the sensor ideal for use in classified areas, as well as resisting exposure to vapors, sea air, humidity and dust.

Each load cell is designed to withstand shock and vibration, ensuring reliable performance even in harsh environments. With a standard 2 mV/V electrical output, the passive mV signal is inherently intrinsically safe, making it ideal for installation in explosion-risk environments.

Available capacities

10 to 40 tons (or versions from 30,000 to 80,000 lbs). Can be manufactured according to specific customer configurations.
